February 2024 Newsletter

Greetings all!

Where oh where has winter been? With the warm temperatures and lack of snow, there is no rest for us on the farm. Jose and I are going to get started planting early this year. We would love to have greens and some cool season crops ready for you before the markets even open. Usually we don't start seeding trays until March 20th, but we are going to get started on March 1st this year. We have already seeded some trials for the heated greenhouse. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be eating salads in early May? We can't wait for some clean and fresh veggies!

It is time to sign up for this season's membership. We sent out emails back in January to all of our current members with the 2024 details. If you didn't receive one please let us know and I will get it resent to you. If I don't hear from you I will be reaching out early march. We are looking forward to serving all of you again this season!

We are still doing deliveries into Marquette and Munising. Keep your eyes out for emails from us with days and times for delivery. If you want eggs, onions or garlic please let us know and we will happily get these items to you.

This time of year we have a lot of eggs and we are always looking for ways to use them.

Trying different deviled egg recipes is always fun.
